Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will make an assessment of the potential merits of creating a network of nightingale-style stepdown facilities to provide transitional care for people that are ready for hospital discharge but have not yet secured the social care package they require.

We have no current plans to make a specific assessment.
