Public Health England’s evidence review on the public health burden of alcohol found that alcohol health warning labels on alcoholic products can raise awareness of the messages they contain. However, the evidence review did not identify any studies which considered the specific impact of warnings at the point of sale on the link between alcohol and cancer and other health harms.
