On 24 December 2017, we published refreshed statutory guidance for frontline professionals on the use of the anti-social behaviour powers provided by the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 to support local agencies in tackling and preventing anti-social behaviour in their areas.

The 2016/17 independent Crime Survey for England and Wales shows that 30% of adults aged 16 and over experienced or witnessed anti-social behaviour in their local areas in the last year. This proportion has fluctuated between 27% and 30% since the question was first asked in the 2011/12 Crime Survey.
