Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment she has made of the potential effect of a minimum unit price for alcohol in England on rates of alcohol-related crime.

We have noted the ruling of the UK Supreme Court in favour of the Scottish Government. Minimum unit pricing will continue to remain under review pending the impact of its implementation in Scotland.
