Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, which NHS Trusts contract Carillion plc for NHS maintenance; and the dates on which each of those contracts were awarded.
Information on the services provided through a Private Finance Initiative (PFI) agreement by Carillion at National Health Service trusts is provided in the table below. These are building maintenance, usually referred to as ‘Hard’ Facilities Management or ‘Hard FM’ ; and non-clinical support services (one of or a combination of cleaning, portering, laundry and others), usually referred to as ‘Soft’ Facilities Management or ‘Soft FM’.
