At the end of March 2022, free access to lateral flow device tests for the general public in England from GOV.UK and pharmacies will end. From April, we expect that a private market will develop, allowing people who wish to continue testing to do so.

From 1 April, there will be some limited symptomatic testing available for a small number of at-risk groups. We will set out further details on eligible groups in due course.
