The UK has had extensive discussions with the Secretariat for the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) since the first proposals were issued in November 2021, led by our UK Delegation to the OECD DAC and through the DAC Working Party on Development Finance Statistics. The DAC Secretariat has now provided guidance for reporting donations of excess COVID-19 vaccine doses in 2021 in ODA. The UK is considering this guidance together with our other commitments and obligations, and is actively engaging with the OECD's Development Assistance Committee (DAC) Secretariat on valuing Covid-19 vaccines in Official Development Assistance in 2021.
