Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, whether Carillion PLC's certificate of past performance on the project, PF2: PSBP - Midlands, South Tyneside & Gateshead (STaG) - Building Schools for the Future Phase 1 was self-certified.

The contract for the PF2 Midlands Priority Schools Buildings Programme project was signed in 2015. The certificate of past performance submitted by Carillion during the procurement of this project, in relation to the South Tyneside and Gateshead project, was not self-certified.
