The New Homes Bonus was introduced in 2011/12 to provide an incentive for local authorities to encourage housing growth in their areas. Allocations for local authorities in England and Gloucestershire to 2017/18 are as follows:

England - £6,073,404,201

Gloucestershire - £122,645,809
