Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if his Department will launch an inquiry into the level of threat of potential interference from the Russian Government in UK politics to help inform his Department's policies.

The MOD, alongside other government departments, keeps state threats, including interference efforts, from Russia under constant review.

It is an absolute priority for this government to protect our politics and democratic processes from foreign interference, and the government has robust systems in place to mitigate this threat.
