Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, whether officials of his Department have contributed to drawing up draft legislative proposals in respect of the Hunting Act 2004; and if he will make a statement.

The Government has no plans to amend the provisions in the Hunting Act 2004 and, as the Prime Minister said on 7 January 2018, there will not be a vote on fox hunting during this Parliament.
