To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what recent discussions she has had with the US State Department on introducing US pre-clearance to airports in the UK.

Discussions with the US Administration on their proposals for the pre-clearance in the UK of passengers travelling to the US are ongoing, and no decision has yet been made.
