Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to the memorandum of understanding on the processing of information requests from the Home Office to NHS Digital for tracing immigration offenders which came into effect on 1 January 2017, what number and proportion of trace requests under that memorandum have been conducted for individuals whom the Home Office had not re-established contact via other centrally held government sources of information; and how many of those requests resulted in (a) apprehension and (b) the resolution of the immigration issue to be addressed.
