Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many elective operations in the NHS have been cancelled in the last 12 months.

NHS England publishes quarterly performance data on the number of last minute elective operations cancelled for non-clinical reasons. This can be accessed via NHS England’s Statistical work areas webpage at:
Data for cancelled elective operations for Quarter 3 2017-18 will be published on 8 February 2018.
