Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the answer of 23 January 2018 to Question 123692, to what FSR guidelines are providers of Section 5A drug driving analysis services accredited.
This question was answered on 1st February 2018
The Forensic Science Regulator’s Codes of Practice require all forensic service providers of s.5A drug driving analysis to be accredited to international standard ISO17025 for toxicology. Since October 2017 it has also been a requirement for providers to be accredited to the Codes themselves.
