Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, when his Department plans to publish International Women and Girls Strategy.

The FCDO will publish a new International Women and Girls Strategy in the coming months. This will build on the International Development Strategy and outline how the FCDO will use the full range of levers at its disposal (including foreign, development, and security) to deliver on the 3Es (Educating girls, Empowering and Championing the health and rights of women and girls, and Ending violence against women and girls).

This is especially urgent work in the context of global challenges and the attempted rollback on women's and girls' rights by some actors.
