Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, what assessment he has made of the effect of the Active Movement programme on activity levels amongst children.

The cross-Government sport strategy, Sporting Future, set out how important it is for all children to be healthy and active. The Active Movement programme aims to combat sedentary behaviour, and we would be happy to meet them to discuss effective ways to encourage children and young people to enjoy active lifestyles.
