Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether the Government supports the European Commission's proposed Directive on country-by-country reporting of profits and tax.

The Government has set out its objective for a model of public country-by-country reporting agreed on a multilateral basis.

The UK will continue to engage constructively with the European Commission’s proposal as a step towards this.
