Plastics: Leeds

Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what information his Department holds on the volume of plastic waste has left the recycling and energy recovery facility in Leeds that has been exported for (i) landfill and (ii) incineration.

The Leeds Recycling and Energy Recovery Facility is operated by Veolia ES Leeds Ltd and is regulated by the Environment Agency. The information submitted to the Environment Agency by Veolia ES Leeds Ltd does not show any export of plastic for landfill or incineration.
