Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many Tech Nation Visas (Tier 1 Visa or Exceptional Visas) were given to Indian nationals in (a) 2022, (b) 2021, (c) 2020, (d) 2019 and (e) 2018.

The Home Office publishes data on entry clearance visas in the ‘Immigration Statistics Quarterly Release’. Data on Global Talent and Tier 1 – Exceptional Talent visas issued, by nationality, are published in Vis_D02 of the ‘Entry clearance visa application and outcomes detailed datasets’. Information on how to use the dataset can be found in the ‘Notes’ page of the workbook. The latest data relates to the year ending September 2022.
