In the week ending 14 December 2022, 12,808 care homes submitted visiting data within the seven days prior to the data extract, of which 12,633 (98.6%) said they were able to accommodate visits in or out in all circumstances. These represent 86.3% of all care homes, if we include the 1,817 care homes that did not submit data within this seven day period and were therefore excluded from the analysis for that month.
