Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what estimate she has made of the number of hedgehogs in England.
This question was answered on 24th January 2023
The latest ‘Review of the Population and Conservation Status of British Mammals’, published in 2018 by Natural England, estimates that the hedgehog population in England is 320,000.
