HM Government cyber security awareness campaigns are underpinned by qualitative and quantitative research to ensure effective targeting and drive individuals and organisations to improve their cyber security behaviours.

The Cabinet Office has received advice from the Behavioural Insights Team since 2014. This has enabled the Department to add to its evidence base to support behavioural change incentives in priority Government areas including cyber security.
