Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what plans his Department has to encourage the use of quick build, flat pack homes for social and affordable housing.

I refer the Hon Member to the answer to Question UIN 124260 on 29 January 2018.

In addition to the measures set out in that answer, we specifically encourage use of modern and innovative methods of construction through the Affordable Homes Programme 2016-21. This includes offsite construction and we expect to fund an increasing number of bids using either partial or fully offsite or innovative methods of construction within the Programme.
