Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, when his Department plans to publish its big data scoping study; and whether any external bodies were consulted on the creation of the big data scoping study.

The scoping study was published in September 2017 and can be found at:

The study was conducted by an external consultancy who engaged with a range of stakeholders including academics, data experts, cities/local authorities, transport operators, SMEs and industry.
