Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, when he plans to publish a cyber security research plan.

DCMS are working closely with partners across industry, academia and government, including the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and UKRI to develop a Cyber Security Research Plan in 2018, setting out Government's priorities for supporting cyber security research that is in the national interest.

The NCSC regularly publishes advice where there is an opportunity to improve the secure use of both new and established technology in the UK, and draws on technical expertise along with input from a range of partners
