The DAC Secretariat has now provided guidance for reporting donations of excess COVID-19 vaccine doses in ODA for 2021 only. We will continue to engage as the DAC Secretariat review their methodology for donations in 2022.

Departmental ODA budgets are increasing significantly over the Spending Review period due to forecast growth in GNI. Spending Review 2021 fully covers the cost of vaccine donations to meet the Prime Minister's commitment on donating 100 million surplus doses by June 2022 as part of the G7 dose-sharing commitments to vaccinate the world by 2022.
