The information requested is not held centrally.

We recently consulted on behalf of the Office for Students on a new condition of registration to promote transparency on senior staff pay in higher education.

We have also called on the sector to work through the Committee of University Chairs to develop their own fair remuneration code. A draft of this code was published for consultation in January 2018, and it requires that a vice-chancellor is not a member of the remuneration committee that sets their pay.
