Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what advice his Department received from Highways England on planning for Operation Stack.

Operation Stack is a police-led contingency plan to deal with queuing HGVs caused by cross-Channel disruption. Highways England works closely with Kent Police on planning for Operation Stack and provides advice regularly to the Department on these arrangements.
