Question to the Department for International Development:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, if she will take steps to include investment in healthcare systems in developing countries on the agenda at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in London in April 2018.

Global health is an important issue to Commonwealth Member States, as it is to the Government. It is likely it will be a key theme at the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting (CHOGM) in London in April, including covering issues around strengthening health systems in developing countries. Commonwealth Member States will collectively discuss and agree the agenda for CHOGM next month.
