Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, with reference to current and projected increases in domestic energy costs, what recent discussions he has had with Ministerial colleagues in HM Treasury on providing financial support to individuals receiving energy-intensive kidney dialysis treatment at home; and if he will make a statement.

We have had no specific discussions and no assessment has been made. The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy is responsible for monitoring the energy market to ensure it meets the need of all consumers, including those receiving medical treatment at home.
