Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, what percentage of workers employed by his Department belonged to a trade union in each of the last five years for which data is available.
This question was answered on 1st March 2018
The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) was created on 14 July 2016. The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) were merged to create this new department.
BEIS does not hold data on the number of workers employed by the department that belong to a trade union.
