Data regarding the split between the number of eating disorder beds and services delivered within the public or private sectors is not available.

Children and young people with eating disorders are routinely and appropriately admitted to other types of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in-patient services. NHS England is currently undertaking a programme of work to redistribute CAMHS beds across the country to open beds in underserved areas of the country and strengthen integration with local pathways.
