The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence published guidelines Dementia, disability and frailty in later life – mid-life approaches to delay or prevent onset in October 2015. This emphasises the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle, including reducing alcohol intake and the impact this can have on preventing the onset of dementia.
