Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether she plans to introduce a new CONTEST strategy.

In the Prime Minister’s speech of 4^th June 2017 (‘Enough is Enough’) she outlined the Government’s commitment to review the UK’s counter-terrorism strategy (CONTEST), drawing on lessons learned from the attacks in London and Manchester earlier this year. As the threat we face from terrorism becomes more complex, our strategy needs to evolve with it. We will publish our updated CONTEST strategy in the coming weeks.
