Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, if she will place a copy of the routine oral questions asked during face-to-face medical assessments for (a) personal independence payment and (b) employment and support allowance in the Library.
There is no set script or bank of questions that Healthcare Professionals ask during face-to-face assessments for Employment and Support Allowance or Personal Independence Payment (PIP). The assessments are conducted in line with the guidance available to the Health Professionals: the PIP Assessment Guide, Part 1 (https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/684001/pip-assessment-guide-part-1-assessment-process.pdf); and the Work Capability Assessment Handbook (https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/634850/wca-handbook.pdf).
