Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of 19 January to Question 122098 on Home Office: Written Questions, what proportion of (a) ordinary and (b) named-day written questions her Department answered on time between January and July 2022.

According to statistics provided by the Table Office, between January and July 2022 the Home Office answered 3,103 written questions. 60% of named-day written questions were answered on time. 75% of ordinary written questions were answered within a 5-day target and 85% of ordinary written questions were answered within a 10-day target.
