Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, if he will increase funding through the Barnett consequentials to support levelling up in the devolved Administrations.
The UK Government will provide direct levelling up support in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, including through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the Levelling Up Fund.
The devolved administrations are also receiving additional funding through the Barnett formula, with the 2021 Spending Review settlements the largest since devolution. It is for the devolved administrations to decide how to allocate their funding across their devolved responsibilities, including to support levelling up.
