Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, for what reason the National Infrastructure Commission has not developed a methodology for estimating the carbon impact of building additional road capacity.

The National Infrastructure Commission provides impartial, expert advice on national infrastructure priorities. It has discretion to determine independently its work programme, methodologies and recommendations, as well as the content of its reports.
