Solar Power: Feed-in Tariffs

Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:
To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, whether his Department has made an assessment of the effect of removing feed-in tariffs for solar energy on the ability of local authorities to invest in solar energy.

A consultation on the Feed-in Tariffs scheme will be published in due course. An impact assessment to accompany this is being prepared.
