Work coaches engage at a personal and individual level with all of or our claimants and are committed to tailoring the support that we give, and any conditionality requirements to the specific circumstances of the individual.

The Department’s internal analysis indicates that there will be around 1 million claimants in work on Universal Credit, receiving support when Universal Credit is fully rolled out.

This internal analysis is derived from the Department’s INFORM and Policy Simulation models.
