Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many people receiving their first universal credit payment have had money deducted from that payment to repay debt from (a) the Social Fund and (b) other benefits; and how much and what proportion of that debt has been repaid to date.

The information requested is not readily available and to provide it would incur disproportionate cost.
