To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many applications for asylum are awaiting a decision.

The Home Office publishes data on the number of asylum decisions pending a decision at the end of each quarter in table as_01_q (asylum, volume 1) of the quarterly Immigration Statistics release.
