The UK government takes these deaths very seriously. We have taken action to reduce the risks of future accidents. We have ensured improved road signage round the site and in addition, all US staff now have driver familiarisation training and are required to complete the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency theory test on their arrival in the UK. The US-UK relationship remains strong and we are united by decades of unrivalled security and defence cooperation.
