Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what recent estimate he has made of the number of people waiting for social care.
This question was answered on 8th March 2022
No such estimate has been made as this information is not held centrally. Local authorities have a duty to meet the eligible care needs of their local populations.
