We believe buyers should have all the information necessary to make informed decisions before purchasing their home. Whilst not compulsory, we would always recommend buyers to commission thorough surveys early in the process. Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors building surveys and condition reports already identify whether contamination or environmental dangers exist in the home, which may indicate the presence of lead.
