Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what estimate he has made of the number of electric shock collars in use on dogs.

The Electronic Collar Manufacturers Association (ECMA) estimate that 500,000 dog owners in the UK are currently using electronic collars, based on records of sales from manufacturers and retailers.
