Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, when his Department plans to consult on reforming the Packaging Recovery Note system.

We have committed to exploring changes to the packaging producer responsibility scheme, as set out in the 25 Year Environment Plan that we issued in January. More detail will be announced in the Resources and Waste Strategy, which will be published later this year.
