Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, whether his Department is planning to send election observers to the upcoming Mexican election.

​​We are not sending a formal observers mission to Mexico for the elections. However, officials at our Embassy in Mexico City have attended briefings on the electoral process presented by the National Electoral Institute and by the Electoral Tribunal, and will also informally observe the elections as accredited visitors.
