Work continues with local authorities and international partners to deliver the Government’s commitment to resettle 20,000 refugees under the Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme (VPRS) by 2020 and we are on-track to do this. Progress on resettlement is reported in the quarterly immigration statistics. The last set of statistics show that by the end of 2017, 10,538 refugees had been resettled under the VPRS since the scheme began in 2014.
